  • What are the hours of operation of the Dooly County Sheriff's Office?
    The Sheriff's Office operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Deputies can be reached by calling (229) 645-0920 or in an emergency situation by dialing 911. For administrative purposes, the normal operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

  • What are the visiting hours for the Detention Center?
    Inmates can be visited from 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on their assigned day. Male inmates may be visited on Wednesdays and Sundays. Female inmates may be visited on Tuesdays and Saturdays. A valid ID is required to enter the Detention Center for visiation. All visitors must be checked in by 04:30 p.m.

    You may mail a copy of your citation(s) along with a cashier's check or money order to the Dooly County Probate Court. You may visit the Clerk of Probate Court at their office.
